AEK Athens vs Real Madrid
Wednesday, 12:45pm ET

Play: Draw
Odds at Time of Release: +600
Line Parameter: Good to +500

Contrarian play here and I know everyone and their mothers will be betting on Real Madrid in some way, shape or form, but I'm going with a LONGSHOT here at +600.

AEK Athens might look like they're in bad shape right now (W1 L4) but all 4 losses came on the road. Perfect 7-0 at home but not against any truly good opponent, but even so, they've scored 30 goals in that span, while conceding just 1. They mean business at home.

Fun fact, these two met twice in the group stage of the Champions League back in 2002 (ancient history, I know) and they were both draws (3-3 in Athens, 2-2 in Madrid). And that Madrid side was incredible, with Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Zidane, Raul, Casillas, Raul, Morientes etc.

I got two plays written for this game, one is the +600 on the Draw as a LONGSHOT, and the other is a more realistic -120 on Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals. AEK Athens with 30 goals and spitting fire at home (also scored away at Man City) vs a Real Madrid that have kept just 1 clean sheet on the road. Starting with a 1* on the Draw (+600) and I might add the Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals as well.

Take 1* on the Draw (+600), good to +500
