The PLAY: Tampa Bay Rays 128
That was so much target practice on the weekend for the Brewers as the lowly Chisox offered little resistance in Milwaukee.
Stretching the win streak to four will be tougher for the Brew Crew tonight as the Rays hit town with the offense in gear after Sunday's 11-7 win at St Louis. Tampa Bay blasted out 17 hits yesterday, continuing a pattern from the high-scoring weekend at Busch Stadium when the Rays collected 23 runs in three games against Cards hurlers.
This pitching matchup offers some promise for the Rays against Kyle Harrison, making his Milwaukee debut after the offseason trade with Boston, and having struggled mightily in the Cactus League, wih an 11.17 ERA acrsss 9 2/3 IP, and recently dealing with a finger issue. Meanwhile, Nick Martinez makes his first start on the mound for Tampa Bay and is reportedly beyond the hamstring issues that proved a problem in his last two Grapefruit League starts. A serviceable innings-eater in the past, he looks a decent fit as the fourth starter in Kevin Cash's rotation. We use +128 with Tampa Bay and invoke the ".10 rule" as we would keep the Rays in play down to +118. Play Rays on Money Line
