| MLB | (915) Texas Rangers at (916) New York Yankees: Moneyline | 7:05pm EDT - May 5/2026 |
The PLAY: Texas Rangers 108 Action
While the Yankees have been red hot, Tuesday's pitching matchup should favor the Rangers. Jacob deGrom continues to dominate. Through six starts, he has an outstanding 2.01 ERA and 0.97 WHIP. While deGrom lost to the Yankees he allowed only one hit through six complete innings. He should get more run support in this one. Rodriguez (0-1, 4.50 ERA, 2.00 WHIP) will make just his second start and they both happen to have been against the Rangers. While deGrom is capable of facing the same team twice in a row, it's a tough assignment for the inexperienced 22-year old Rodriguez. Let's go with the veteran deGrom as an underdog.

| MLB | (967) Cleveland Guardians at (968) Kansas City Royals: Moneyline | 7:40pm EDT - May 4/2026 |
The PLAY: Cleveland Guardians 106 Tanner Bibee (RHP), Michael Wacha (RHP) Must Start
I feel that the Guardians are offering solid value as slight underdogs on Monday. At first glance, Bibee's stats (0-4, 4.08 ERA) look pretty bad. However, a closer look shows that he has actually allowed three earned runs or less in six of his seven starts, two runs or less in five of those. He had one bad outing, at Atlanta, which accounted for the high ERA. Since that rough game, he's got a 1.59 ERA in his last three starts, one of those coming against the Royals. For his career, he's 4-0 with a 3.06 ERA in nine starts vs. the Royals. Note that all four of those wins came here, at KC. He's got a 2.78 ERA in those four games. Wacha's overall numbers are pretty good but he's 0-2 with an ugly 8.71 ERA and 2.03 WHIP his past two starts. Let's go with the Guardians. *good at -115 or better
