The PLAY: Buffalo Sabres to Win the Stanley Cup (+1900)
This is a 1⭐️PLAY
Play: Buffalo Sabres to Win the Stanley Cup (+1900) at Fanduel
The Buffalo Sabres currently hold the longest playoff drought in the NHL, spanning 14 consecutive seasons. Their last playoff appearance was in the 2010-2011 season. At one point, Buffalo looked destined to continue that drought, sitting at 11-14-4 on December 8th.
Since then, the Sabres have gone 32-6-2, which includes a ten-game and an eight-game winning streak. They made a change at the general manager position, firing Kevyn Adams on December 15, 2025, and appointing former Columbus Blue Jackets GM Jarmo Kekäläinen as the new GM.
Buffalo has been remarkably consistent, suffering only two back-to-back losing streaks since December 8th. They are 6-2-0 in their last 8 games following a loss and have gone 11-0-1 in their last 12 games overall.
The Sabres are capable of winning low-scoring games, having allowed two or fewer goals in 10 of their last 12 contests. They boast two quality goaltenders with very similar stats: a 2.54 and 2.60 GAA, and save percentages of .915 and .909.
In the Eastern Conference, the two favorites to reach the Stanley Cup Finals are Tampa Bay and Carolina. Most teams have 13-15 games remaining before the playoffs. Buffalo is currently leading the Atlantic Division by four points and is tied with Carolina for first place in the Eastern Conference. Buffalo likely offers the most value as a playoff futures bet because they are unproven in the postseason, but they have been the most consistent team in the NHL for months. Meanwhile, both Carolina and Tampa Bay have faced recent questions regarding their goaltending.
I believe Buffalo will go on a deep run in the postseason and clinch a spot in their third Stanley Cup Final. I am betting on Buffalo to win the Eastern Conference and to win the Stanley Cup.

The PLAY: (WPG) Tim White Anytime Touchdown (+130)
This is a 1⭐️PLAY
Play: (WPG) Tim White Anytime Touchdown (+130) at Fanduel
I am backing the over on Tim White’s 60.5 receiving yards and an anytime touchdown for Thursday night's matchup between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Hamilton's secondary struggled heavily in Week 1, giving up a league-high 336 passing yards to the Montreal Alouettes. Now, they travel to Princess Auto Stadium to face a dangerous Winnipeg passing attack led by Zach Collaros. The main focal point of this offense will be former Tiger-Cats star receiver Tim White, who led the Blue Bombers with 60 receiving yards and captured his first touchdown in their season opener. After four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons in Hamilton, White was released by the team this offseason and will be highly motivated to prove his former club wrong. Expect Collaros to target his new top weapon early and often against a vulnerable Tiger-Cats pass defense.

| NHL | (19) Vegas Golden Knights at (20) Carolina Hurricanes: Jordan Staal Goals | 8:00pm EDT - Jun 11/2026 |
The PLAY: (CAR) Jordan Staal Anytime Goal (+370)
This is a 1⭐️PLAY
Play: (CAR) Jordan Staal Anytime Goal (+370) at Draftkings
There is a massive amount of betting value on Carolina Hurricanes captain Jordan Staal to continue his historic goal-scoring streak in Game 5. Staal has been the best player on the ice for Carolina in this series, scoring in all four games—including a spectacular two-goal night and the game-winner in Game 4 to tie the series. He has now found the back of the net in five of his last six games overall. Staal's high-danger area dominance has completely disrupted the Vegas defense. With the series shifting back to Raleigh, look for the Hurricanes' leader to stay hot and drive the offense on home ice. Backing him as an anytime goalscorer remains a premium value play.

| NHL | (19) Vegas Golden Knights at (20) Carolina Hurricanes: Brett Howden Goals | 8:00pm EDT - Jun 11/2026 |
The PLAY: (VGK) Brett Howden Anytime Goal (+245)
This is a 1⭐️PLAY
Play: (VGK) Brett Howden Anytime Goal (+245) at Draftkings
Vegas forward Brett Howden enters tonight's matchup as one of the hottest goal-scorers in the entire postseason. Howden has already found the back of the net in three of the four games in this series and has scored in 12 of his last 17 games overall. He has been even more dangerous on enemy ice, scoring in eight of his last nine road games—a stretch that includes two multi-goal performances. Furthermore, Howden has historically terrorized the Hurricanes, scoring in four of his last five head-to-head meetings against them. Given his current deployment and historic success against Carolina and Vegas being down in the series, backing him to score in game 5 offers massive value.
