The PLAY: Total Over 133.0 (-115)
Poor shooting was the common theme of last night's two semifinal matchups in the CAA Tournament. Monmouth and Campbell combined to go 6 of 36 from three in a game that ended up 74-64 while neither Towson nor Hofstra were able to shoot 40% overall from the field in a game that was tied 55-55 at the end of regulation.
I expect across the board improvement in the shooting department for tonight's Final. Part of that is because we're talking about two of the top three teams in the CAA when it comes to three-point shooting. (Hofstra is #1). Monmouth has also been much better offensively since Kavion McClain became eligible on Feb 3rd. He's averaged nearly 17 PPG and had a team-high 19 last night.
These teams met twice during the regular season and the O/U lines closed 139.5 and 140.5. I understand that a lot is on the line here (a NCAA Tournament berth!) However, this number has gotten far too low, in my view.

After spending the previous decade at Covers Experts, Bryan Power has wasted little time establishing himself. A consistent winner since first emerging on the scene back in 2011, Power didn't have a single losing calendar year in his first decade as a pro handicapper! In April & May of this year (2022), he went on an amazing 154-99-2 (+$41,322) with all plays!
Power handicaps football (both NFL and college), basketball (NBA and college), MLB, Soccer (most major European leagues), and the UFC. He uses a personal set of power ratings, combined with situational handicapping, to make his selections. Multiple bets per day across multiple sports are the norm.
