I got you guys covered with an official client play on the house tonight, as we enter the week sporting a 9-2 (81.8%) NHL best bets run! The Lightning just hammered the Flyers 7-2 on Saturday, notching their ninth consecutive victory. I'll back the Bolts to complete the two-game Philly sweep.
This nine-game heater from Tampa has shot them up the standings, and they're now the third-best team in the NHL in terms of xGoals% (54.8%). Philadelphia is just 16th (50.25%) in the same category. Tampa's also better on both the power play (19.7% vs. 15.6%) and penalty kill (83.1% vs. 80.8%). And really, it's the disparity in these offenses that has me loving the Lightning here. They've reached the four-goal mark in all nine of their recent wins, and if they hit that threshold, it should be plenty against this bottom-third Flyers offense that's just 21st in G/60 minutes (2.88) and 31st in high-danger SOG (125).
