I like for Sal Frelick to clear 1.5 hits, runs, and RBI at home on Friday. The lead-off man has looked great over the last seven days, hitting .375 and ranking 32nd in the MLB in wOBA (.421) during the stretch.
He should have no issues reaching base against the Nationals, and I expect the big bats behind him to drive him in. The Crew will take on Jake Irvin, who brings in an 8.00 ERA and a 1.56 WHIP. Milwaukee's current roster is slashing .351/.435/.622 against him over 74 at-bats. This includes Frelick, who is 5-for-13 (.385) against Irvin with a double and no strikeouts. Washington's bullpen is also 28th in ERA (6.34), so Frelick should have quality chances to eclipse this number all throughout the game.
