The PLAY: Chicago Cubs -120 Trevor McDonald (RHP), Jameson Taillon (RHP) Must Start
The Cubs won for just the seventh time in 26 games on Saturday. But it was also their second win (both walkoffs) in the last three days. They did benefit from a Giants error in the bottom of the 10th yesterday afternoon. But given how things had been going, the Cubs will take it. Despite the slump, I'm still a believer in this team (long-term) and think they win tonight on Sunday Night Baseball (there's a good chance I'll be at this game).
Considering where these two teams are at in the standings, this ML price on the Cubs seems way too cheap. Jameson Taillon actually looked good his last time out (just two runs allowed in 6 1/3 IP). Sadly, it wasn't enough as the Cubs lost 2-1 to the A's here at Wrigley. But expect more run support for Taillon tonight as Giants' starter Trevor McDonald has been trending in the wrong direction over his L3 starts with 13 runs allowed in 15 IP.
Even though they've had some big games at the plate during the last week, SF is still in the bottom 10 in runs scored this season. They are also 14-23 on the road. This will be their 10th straight road game and they've been held to three runs or less in five of the previous eight.

After spending the previous decade at Covers Experts, Bryan Power has wasted little time establishing himself. A consistent winner since first emerging on the scene back in 2011, Power didn't have a single losing calendar year in his first decade as a pro handicapper! In April & May of this year (2022), he went on an amazing 154-99-2 (+$41,322) with all plays!
Power handicaps football (both NFL and college), basketball (NBA and college), MLB, Soccer (most major European leagues), and the UFC. He uses a personal set of power ratings, combined with situational handicapping, to make his selections. Multiple bets per day across multiple sports are the norm.
