Buying the Kade Anderson hype as the left-hander makes his big league debut Saturday night. I cashed a 4% BEST BET with the Mariners last night. Got a little lucky as they rallied from an early 3-0 hole and then, after blowing a 5-3 lead, came out ahead 6-5 after 10 innings. Anderson is the M's top pitching prospect and comes up at a time when the team is in the midst of a congested playoff race with both the AL West pennant and Wild Card in play.
Anderson dominated at the the Double-A level, posting a 10-1 record with a 1.06 ERA and 135 strikeouts in 93 1/3 innings pitched. He skipped Triple-A and is coming up straight to the big leagues, so that's a big jump. I know the Cubs haven't lost three in a row since early June, but with David Peterson starting Saturday, they're at a disadvantage early. Peterson has been better since coming over from the Mets, but still sports a poor 5.29 ERA and 1.53 WHIP for the season. I don't see the Cubs leading after five innings today.
Don't miss Saturday's top play - a 4% BEST BET. After last night's winner, I'm now on a 74-47 run in MLB including a RED HOT 21-10 L31 bets!
