The PLAY: Purdue -7.0 (-110)
Neither of these teams will catch Michigan but the winner of this game will have 23 wins. Playing at home, I like the Boilermakers' chances. Purdue checks in off a 93-64 blowout of Indiana and has now won five of its last six games. I backed the Boilermakers in their victory over the Hoosiers; they were clicking on all cylinders. The dominant effort showcased how good this Purdue team can be when it plays to its potential.
The Spartans have lost their last two road games overall. Michigan State has also lost its last five games at Mackey Arena -- six if you count an NCAA Tournament loss against UCLA. The last time the Spartans won here was in 2014.
Izzo said this: "Mackey Arena is one of the toughest we play in during the conference or nonconferenc. I think this is a really experienced Purdue team. They've got three guys in Smith, Loyer and Kaufman-Renn where it seems like they've been there forever." Play Purdue
