| CBB | (801) Sacred Heart at (802) Iona: Spread | 6:00pm EST - Mar 5/2026 |
The PLAY: Iona -3.5 (-115)
Iona has taken a bit of money since we talked about them on the Morning Wager (see video below). But, even at the current price, the Gaels are still worth playing in tonight's first round MAAC Tournament game (in Atlantic City) against Sacred Heart.
They won the lone regular season matchup 81-69 as a 1.5-point road dog.
Sacred Heart is very three-point dependent. Over half of the Pioneers' total field goal attempts this season have come from behind the arc. But the problem for them here is that they are facing an Iona team which is Top 25 in the country at defending the three-point line (30.4% allowed).

After spending the previous decade at Covers Experts, Bryan Power has wasted little time establishing himself. A consistent winner since first emerging on the scene back in 2011, Power didn't have a single losing calendar year in his first decade as a pro handicapper! In April & May of this year (2022), he went on an amazing 154-99-2 (+$41,322) with all plays!
Power handicaps football (both NFL and college), basketball (NBA and college), MLB, Soccer (most major European leagues), and the UFC. He uses a personal set of power ratings, combined with situational handicapping, to make his selections. Multiple bets per day across multiple sports are the norm.
