I'm locking in Brady Tkachuk as an anytime goalscorer Monday night. Tkachuk only has 16 goals in 42 games this season, but his lack of finding the back of the net hasn't been due to not putting pucks on net. In fact, the Sens captain is second in the NHL in SOG/G at 3.9, trailing only the Avs' Nathan MacKinnon (4.6). Tkachuk scored in Saturday's 7-4 beatdown of the Kraken, giving him two goals in his last five games.
Additionally, this is simply a great matchup for the Senators. Ottawa ranks third in Corsi% (54.0%) this season, and they'll take on a Vancouver squad that's 27th in the category at 47.23%. Over the last 20 games, which just about covers the Canucks' current 3-17-5 run, Vancouver is 31st in GAA (4.07), 27th in SV% (.869), and 20th in high-danger SOG against (75). Finally, it's worth noting that the Canucks bring in the worst PK in the league at 70.3%. Tkachuk and the Senators should absolutely bully the Canucks Monday night, and I think the captain buries one in the process.
