I'm riding with Adam Fox to record an assist as my free daily player prop on Monday. Fox has been banged-up this season, but he's still nearly a point-per-game guy with 37 points in 43 games. The New York d-man has been rolling recently, logging 1+ assist in four of his last five games, as well as in 17 of his last 27 contests.
It's no surprise that Fox's return has provided some stability for the Rangers' offense. They've been on fire over the last 10 games, ranking fourth in G/60 minutes (3.77) and first in shooting percentage (16.59%). Fox plays an integral role for New York, walking the line on the top power-play unit and absorbing a solid 23:42 TOI/G overall. He'll be facing an Ottawa penalty kill that's 30th in the NHL (74.63%), while their goaltending core has combined to rank dead last in team SV% (.872).
