The PLAY: Brook Lopez (LAC) Over 4.5 Rebounds at Golden State
The Clippers defeated the Pelicans at home yesterday 137-117 as they’ll make the short trip to take on the Warriors tonight in San Francisco. These two divisional foes have played each other twice already this season but the last time was way back on January 5th as these two teams look much different heading into tonight. We’re going to take Brook Lopez over 4.5 rebounds tonight in what is being anticipated as a low scoring affair with the total already dropping three points. Lopez didn’t see much action during the first two head-to-head meetings, but since Ivica Zubac has been traded away he has been finding his footing again averaging 6.6 rebounds per game across his last five. The Warriors rank 24th in rebounding rate this season and like seasons past lack credible size down low aside from Draymond Green. They have Quinten Post and Al Horford active but both are averaging less than five rebounds per game this season so Lopez should get his rebounding chances with Golden State running at the 11th fastest pace this season. Let’s look for Lopez to gobble up some key rebounds tonight going over 4.5 in what should be a rock fight in San Francisco.
