| NBA | (527) Minnesota Timberwolves at (528) Boston Celtics: Spread | 8:10pm EDT - Mar 22/2026 |
The PLAY: Minnesota Timberwolves +10.5 (-115)
Still no Anthony Edwards for Minnesota, but this is a big number that the T'wolves are getting tonight in Boston. The Celtics have a date w/ OKC on deck, so perhaps - there's a chance - they're looking ahead to that? Regardless, taking the points is the only way to go in this one.
The T'wolves are 2-1 SU without Edwards, their leading scorer and best player. The one loss occurred Friday night, at home against Portland. They lost by only four despite allowing 68 pts in the 1H. After HC Chris Finch called the team out for a lack of "defensive intensity," I'd expect a better effort on that end of the floor tonight.
Too often in the NBA, the market overreacts when a star player is out. I'm banking on someone else stepping up for Minnesota tonight. Two games ago, three players went for 20+ and five went for 17+ points.

After spending the previous decade at Covers Experts, Bryan Power has wasted little time establishing himself. A consistent winner since first emerging on the scene back in 2011, Power didn't have a single losing calendar year in his first decade as a pro handicapper! In April & May of this year (2022), he went on an amazing 154-99-2 (+$41,322) with all plays!
Power handicaps football (both NFL and college), basketball (NBA and college), MLB, Soccer (most major European leagues), and the UFC. He uses a personal set of power ratings, combined with situational handicapping, to make his selections. Multiple bets per day across multiple sports are the norm.
